Preferred Tier
What is the Swirl Rewards Club?
The Swirl Rewards Club is designed to reward the loyal guests of Grotto Pizza. It is a special program that gives registered members immediate benefits and over time, lots of exciting rewards and perks. If you have any feedback or thoughts, we would love your opinion. Please click here swirlrewardsclub@grottopizza.com (make email clickable) to send us an email.
How do I join?
Visit a participating Grotto Pizza location and tell your server that you would like to join the Swirl Rewards Club, or click here to sign up online (link that is already in). You will receive a virtual card number that can be exchanged in the restaurant.
I registered online and have a virtual card number. How do I receive a physical card?
When you registered you received a 9-digit virtual card number. Bring that number with you on your next visit to a Grotto Pizza location, present it to your server and request a physical card. All of your information and account balance will transfer. NOTE: physical cards are not needed; it is just another option to identify you.
What do I get?
Once you join the club and register your card online at grottopizza.com, you’re able to earn points that convert to valuable rewards. Current Preferred Tier program rewards include:
  • Registration Bonus - $3 off any large pizza when you register your card (expires 14 days after the reward is issued.)
  • $10 Reward for 100 points (valid on food and beverages)
  • Birthday Bonus - FREE Jr Pizza Reward for your birthday (expires 14 days after the reward is issued)
  • Double Points on Wednesday
How much does it cost?
Same as a smile, it’s FREE to join the Swirl Rewards Club.
I received a card at Grotto Pizza. How do I register my card?
Visit grottopizza.com, click on the “Register I have a Card” button and follow the directions.
Why do I have to register my card?
Registration allows you to manage your account and track activity, such as points balance and rewards earned. It also allows us to replace your card in the event it is lost or stolen. Card registration is required to redeem any reward.
Who can join?
Any person 18 years of age or older and loves Grotto Pizza!!! However, employees of Grotto Pizza are not eligible to participate.
How do I earn points?
Visit any participating Grotto Pizza location and present your Swirl Rewards Club membership card to your server. You will earn one point for every dollar you spend (excluding tax and tip).
Can I earn bonus points?
Yes you can, by sharing your love for Grotto Pizza. Our Refer-a-Friend* program allows you to earn points when you get others to register in the Swirl Rewards Club. Log into your account, select “Tell a Friend,” enter your friend’s email in the correct field. After they register and use their card, you will receive 25 bonus points! Wednesdays are double points days, as well. Max of 200 bonus points is allowed on double points day. Stay alert for additional bonus point opportunities.

Do points and Swirl Reward Bucks ever expire?
No. Earned points and Swirl Reward Bucks don’t expire. Other promotional rewards, given throughout the year, do expire and will be clearly marked. The expiration date can be viewed on the account balance screen, or in the email notifying you of the reward.
Are there any items that do not earn points?
Yes, you will not earn points for gift card purchases, online Grotto Pizza retail merchandise, taxes, gratuity, or purchases made with rewards.
Can I earn points when I purchase a gift card?
No. Points are earned for food and beverage purchases only (excluding tax and tip). However, points can be earned when redeeming a gift card.
How do I know which locations are participating in the Swirl Rewards Club Program?
Participating locations include all Delaware and Maryland locations. For more information on your favorite locations, click here for a list of restaurant phone numbers.
How do I use points?
Points automatically convert to Swirl Reward Bucks when you reach 100 points. When you earn rewards they automatically load on your account. Tell your server when you want to redeem your rewards.
How do I use my Swirl Reward Bucks?
If you have earned Swirl Reward Bucks you can use them for food and beverage purchases at participating Grotto Pizza locations. All available Swirl Reward Bucks will be applied to the subtotal of the check. Any unused portion will remain in your account balance until they are used.
How do I use the $3 off any large pizza registration reward?
Once you have registered your card at grottopizza.com, visit any participating Grotto Pizza location and tell your server you would like to apply the $3 off any large pizza registration reward to your bill. It’s just that easy.
How do I get my Birthday Reward?
Prior to your birthday, you will receive an email notifying you that your FREE Jr. Pizza Birthday Reward has been applied to your account. This reward will remain valid for 14 days. You need to register your card and provide us with your birthday, so that we may apply this reward at the appropriate time. All Birthday Rewards load onto your account Monday morning the week of your birthday. If you register during your birthday week, the reward will load the following Monday.
How do I use my Birthday Reward?
Visit any participating Grotto Pizza location and tell your server you would like to use your FREE Jr. Pizza Birthday Reward. Happy Birthday and enjoy!
Will there be any coupons to print out?
No. All of the rewards will be loaded onto your account. You can redeem your rewards by handing your Swirl Rewards Club card to your server at any participating Grotto Pizza location. Emails will be used to help alert you of rewards or perks available. Please make sure to add "swirlrewardsclub@grottopizza.com" and “rewards@c.pxsmail.com” to your contact list to ensure you will receive notifications about your rewards.
What if I do not like to carry around a bunch of cards?
We also offer a mobile app for your iPhone, iPad or Android. Search for “Grotto Pizza Rewards” and download the app. The correct icon is the Swirl. After you download the app, you can find the nearest Grotto Pizza location. On each visit, simply check-in*, relay the three-digit number to your server and all points earned will be applied to your account. You may redeem any rewards on your registered account. You may also use your phone number to identify yourself (must be registered.)
How can I find out what is on my account?
Visit grottopizza.com and click on the link to “Login view rewards” and then click “Account Balance.” Once again, you need to register your card to redeem these rewards. You can also view rewards and your point balance if you have the Grotto Pizza app on your phone.
How can I see my Swirl Rewards Club balance?
Click on the Swirl Rewards Club link and choose “Account Balance.” You may also ask your sever when visiting Grotto Pizza, or look up your account on the iPhone and Android App.
I lost my Swirl Rewards Club card. Can it be replaced?
If your lost card was registered on our website, we can verify card balances and we're happy to replace it for you. If your lost card was not registered we don’t have the ability to find lost, unregistered cards. If you need a new card visit your nearest participating Grotto Pizza location. Provide your server with your account number or phone number so the new card can be attached to your account.
I forgot to bring my Swirl Rewards Club card the last time I was at the restaurant. Can I still get credit for my visit?
Yes, email SwirlRewardsClub@grottopizza.com with your account number, Grotto Pizza location, date, subtotal and check number. Please allow for 2 – 3 business days for your account to be updated.
I have a few Swirl Rewards Club cards with different credits/rewards/values. Can I combine them onto a single card?
Yes, if you have multiple accounts for the same individual. You cannot combine accounts that belong to different people. Send card numbers and your name to swirlrewardsclub@grottopizza.com. Indicate which account login is the main account.
Can I let someone else use my rewards?
Only the registered rewards program member may use the card to redeem rewards. However, you can bring someone else along to a participating Grotto Pizza location. If you have a reward and you pay the check, you may treat someone using your rewards.
Can I let someone else use my card?
Only the registered club member may use the card to earn points. However, if you pay the bill for others in your party, you earn points on the total amount you spend (excluding tax and tip).
Can I combine my points with another person’s points?
No. Points from multiple member accounts may not be combined.
Can I share a membership with my spouse or other family member?
Swirl Rewards Club is intended for individual personal use only. Spouses or family members may not share a membership. However, when multiple members of a family dine together at a participating Grotto Pizza location, if one person pays the entire bill, that person (provided he/she is an active member) will earn points for the entire amount spent (excluding tax and tip).
Does my account ever expire?
No. However Swirl Rewards Club accounts with no activity for 24 months will be deactivated and all points & rewards credits will be forfeited.
Can I earn points for purchases I made before I joined the Swirl Rewards Club?
No.
What if I have problems with my account, lose my card or have a question that is not answered here?

Can a business join the Swirl Rewards Club?
Swirl Rewards Club is intended for personal use only. Business entities may not earn points or rewards. Individuals may acquire a Swirl Rewards Club card.
What is your privacy policy?
Grotto Pizza takes your privacy very seriously. Rest assured we would never rent or sell your email address or information. Click here to view our Privacy Policy. The Swirl Rewards Club program may change over time. Please visit grottopizza.com to view any adjustments to the program.
What are these new tiers?
Based on your level of spending, (2019 placement based of off 2018 spending) you have been placed in one of four tiers.
  • Preferred Tier – up to $499 spent in a calendar year.
  • VIP Tier – between $500 and $999 spent in a calendar year.
  • Elite Tier – between $1,000 and $2,999 spent in a calendar year.
  • Legendary Tier – over $3,000 spent in a calendar year.
Everyone has been upgraded! We made some great improvements to the Swirl Rewards Club based on guest feedback and market research. One major new benefit is that points and earned Swirl Reward Bucks never expire.
VIP Tier
What is the Swirl Rewards Club VIP tier?
Swirl Rewards Club VIP tier is a premium tier in our loyalty program for guests who spend $500 during a calendar year. SRC VIP members earn all of the regular benefits of the Preferred tier plus, 1.1 points per $1 spent, FREE Regular Cheese Pizza Birthday Reward and an annual December Holiday Gift.
How do I qualify for the VIP tier?
Registered Swirl Rewards Club members who spend more than $500 during a calendar year automatically qualify for VIP status. Registered members who provide a valid email address will be automatically upgraded January 1st of the next year.
Will I receive a new card?
No, your current Swirl Rewards Club card will begin earning your additional VIP benefits immediately upon upgrading to the VIP tier, at the 1st of the year.
My calendar year spending wallet says that I have reached over $500. Why haven’t I moved into the VIP tier?
All upgrades occur on the 1st of the year. Registered Swirl Reward Club members who have $500 on the 1st of the year and a valid email address that is opted-in, will automatically be upgraded at that time.
Will I always be a VIP member?
You will remain a VIP member for the next calendar year (January 1 – December 31.) In the event you do not spend more than $500 during your next calendar year as a VIP member, you will be downgraded to Preferred tier with all points and rewards earned. *Please note that to re-qualify the spending minimum must be met before the end of the year.
How can I tell how close I am to requalifying for VIP status?
When logged in to your account, you can view your “Year to Date Spending” wallet to see how close you are to requalifying for VIP status.
On Wednesdays, do I receive double points on my VIP bonus points?
No. Double points are issued on purchase amount only. Double points do not apply to the 10% bonus. For example, if your check subtotal is $25, you would receive a total of 28 points for your VIP status and an extra 25 points for Double Points Wednesday. This would equal a total of 53 points for that transaction.

Elite Tier
What is the Swirl Rewards Club Elite tier?
Swirl Rewards Club Elite tier is a premium tier in our loyalty program for guests who spend $1,000 during a calendar year. SRC Elite members earn all of the regular benefits of the VIP tier plus, Free Large Cheese Pizza Birthday Reward, 1.25 points per $1 spent, an annual December Holiday Gift and personalized Elite card.
How do I qualify for the Elite tier?
Registered Swirl Rewards Club members who spend more than $1,000 during a calendar year automatically qualify for Elite status. Registered members who provide a valid email address will be automatically upgraded January 1st.
How can I tell how close I am to requalifying for Elite status?
When logged in to your account, you can view your “Year to Date Spending” wallet to see how close you are to requalifying for Elite status.
Will I receive a new account number?
No.
Why didn’t I get my Elite tier card?
All upgrades occur on the 1st of the year. Registered Swirl Reward Club members, who have spent $1,000 in a calendar year and have provided a valid email address that is opted-in, will automatically be upgraded at that time. Your personalized card will be available for pickup at your favorite location at a predetermined time.
Will I always be in the Elite tier?
You will be placed in the Elite tier for the next calendar year (January 1 – December 31.) In the event you do not spend more than $1,000 during your next calendar year as an Elite member, you will be downgraded to Preferred tier or VIP tier with all points and rewards earned. *Please note that to re-qualify the spending minimum must be met before the end of the year.
On Wednesdays do I receive double points on my Elite bonus points?
No. Double points are issued on purchase amount only. Double points do not apply to the 25% bonus. For example, if your check subtotal is $25, you would receive a total of 31 points for your Elite status and an extra 25 points for Double Points Wednesday. This would equal a total of 56 points for that transaction.
Can I combine accounts to qualify for the Elite tier?
No. Unfortunately, we do not combine multiple members into one account. Our program is designed to reward individual members for achieving certain levels.
What if I lost my Elite tier card?
No worries. Just email SwirlRewardsClub@grottopizza.com with your name, account number and favorite store. We will reissue a new personalized card and send it to your favorite location for pickup. All of your information and rewards will be on the new card.

Legendary Tier
What is the Swirl Rewards Club Legendary tier?
Swirl Rewards Club Legendary tier is the top-level tier in our loyalty program for our biggest fans who spend $3,000 during a calendar year. SRC Legendary members earn all of the regular benefits of the Elite tier, plus 1.5 points per $1 spent, Free Large Specialty Pizza Birthday Reward, an annual December Holiday Gift, personalized Legendary card and an exclusive welcome gift.
How do I qualify for the Legendary tier?
Registered Swirl Rewards Club members who spend more than $3,000 during a calendar year automatically qualify for Legendary status. Registered members who provide a valid email address will be automatically upgraded January 1st.
How can I tell how close I am to requalifying for Legendary status?
When logged in to your account, you can view your “Year to Date Spending” wallet to see how close you are to requalifying for Legendary status.
Will I receive a new account number?
No.
Why didn’t I get my Legendary tier card?

For example, if your check subtotal is $25, you would receive a total of 38 points for your Legendary status and an extra 25 points for Double Points Wednesday. This would equal a total of 63 points for that transaction.
Can I combine accounts to qualify for the Legendary tier?
No. Unfortunately, we do not combine multiple members into one account. Our program is designed to reward individual members for achieving certain levels.
What if I lost my Legendary tier card?
No worries. Just email SwirlRewardsClub@grottopizza.com with your name, account number and favorite store. We will reissue a new personalized card and send it to your favorite location for pickup. All of your information and rewards will be on the new card.
